At Focus, we understand the need for additional support during this time of uncertainty. We are dedicated to ensuring the physical, mental, and emotional health and safety of all our staff and patients. Our revised protocols regarding admissions, programming, and operations, are based on recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control, Joint Commission, the Tennessee Department of Health, and the Hamilton County Health Department. This page is updated regularly when policies or procedures change.

Onsite Eating Disorder Treatment
Onsite residential and PHP treatment for eating disorders is available in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Please be prepared for a heightened screening process, including a negative COVID test prior to admission. Learn more about our residential eating disorder treatment program by calling 423-308-2560.

Onsite Substance Use Disorder Treatment
Onsite detox, residential, and PHP, and IOP treatment is currently available in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Please be prepared for a heightened screening process, including a negative COVID test prior to admission.

onsite residential treatment
To prevent the spread of COVID-19 within the treatment facility, Focus will admit individuals after telephone screening and negative COVID test results. Onsite rapid COVID testing is offered for anyone who has not yet been tested or who needs a retest.
For patients who are receiving care within the facility, the following steps are being taken:
All onsite staff are screened daily for physical symptoms and potential viral exposure prior to beginning each work shift
Many non-direct patient care staff are working from home
Facility sanitation practices are heightened to keep the environments disinfected
Some programming elements are limited or restricted
Some patient outings are limited
Vendors
All vendors (and staff) are required to be screened daily prior to entry into the facility. Please be prepared to have your temperature taken, to answer screening questions, and to wear protective gear when entering the facility.
